The Burton Panthers basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the visiting Brazos Christian Eagles to 53 in the Panthers non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Panthers now sport a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sealy for a non-league contest on Friday, December 15. Burton will battle a Tigers team coming off a 45-27 league win over Wharton (Wharton, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 11-6.

The Eagles (9-5) will now prepare for their contest against Mumford (Mumford, TX). The Mustangs come into the non-league contest with a 7-5 record. In their last contest, Mumford was defeated by West (West, TX), 34-33, in a non-league contest.
