Broadway Gobblers (Broadway, VA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Rockbridge County Wildcats (Lexington, VA), 54-19 in a league bout.

With the win, Broadway upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Gobblers travel to Spotswood (Penn Laird, VA) to clash with the Trailblazers in a Valley bout on Friday, December 15. The Trailblazers go into the bout with a record of 5-1. Spotswood won 60-14 in their recent league bout against William Monroe (Stanardsville, VA)

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the East Rockingham Eagles (Elkton, VA) in a Valley bout, on Friday, December 15. Rockbridge County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 4-2 record after their 50-38 non-league loss to Page County (Shenandoah, VA).
