Oklahoma High School Basketball - Catoosa ripped by Locust Grove

The Locust Grove Pirates basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Catoosa Indians to 34 in the Pirates league triumph on Tuesday.

The Pirates now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oologah for a Verdigris Valley contest on Friday, December 15. Locust Grove will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 48-30 league win over Miami (Miami, OK). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-3.

The Indians (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Verdigris (Claremore, OK). The Cardinals enter the Verdigris Valley contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Verdigris triumphed over Hilldale (Muskogee, OK), 60-33, in a league contest.
