With the victory, Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop improves its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds travel to Minnesota Valley Lutheran (New Ulm, MN) to confront the Chargers in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 18. The Chargers come into the challenge with a record of 0-6.

Next up, the Cougars confront the St. Mary's Knights (Sleepy Eye, MN) in a A Section 2 challenge, on Friday, December 15. Cedar Mountain will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record.
