South Carolina High School Basketball - North Central can't hold off Central

December 12, 2023: Kershaw, SC 29067

The Central Eagles basketball team scored 46 points and restricted the host North Central Knights to 40 in the Eagles league victory on Tuesday.

The Eagles now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lewisville for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 13. Central will battle a Lions team coming off a 33-16 non-league win over Buford (Lancaster, SC). The Lions record now stands at 5-1.

The Knights (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against York Prep (Rock Hill, SC). The Patriots come into the AA Region 5 contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, York Prep edged Cheraw (Cheraw, SC), 50-48, in a league contest.
