Coldspring-Oakhurst Trojans (Coldspring, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Onalaska Wildcats (Onalaska, TX), 43-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Coldspring-Oakhurst upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Trojans host Tarkington (Cleveland, TX) to play the Longhorns in a 3A Region III District 23 bout on Friday, December 15. The Longhorns go into the bout with a record of 3-7. Tarkington lost 50-37 in their recent non-league bout against Diboll (Diboll, TX)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Trinity Tigers (Trinity, TX) in a 3A Region III District 23 bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Onalaska will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record.
