The Columbia River Rapids (Vancouver, WA) basketball nipped the visiting Mark Morris Monarchs (Longview, WA), 49-43 in Tuesday's league test.
The Rapids (3-1) will now prepare for their test against Hockinson (Brush Prairie, WA). The Hawks go into the 2A Greater St. Helens test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Hockinson was tipped by Ridgefield (Ridgefield, WA), 71-30, in a league test.
The Monarchs now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Hockinson for a 2A Greater St. Helens test on Wednesday, January 3.
