North Carolina High School Basketball - Roxboro Community succumbs to Falls Lake

December 12, 2023: Roxboro, NC 27573

The Falls Lake Firebirds topped the host Roxboro Community Bulldogs basketball team by a final score of 50-39 in Tuesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Firebirds face the Clover Garden School Grizzlies (Burlington, NC) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, January 3. Falls Lake will attempt to move on its 11-0 season record.

With the defeat, Roxboro Community moves to 4-4 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Oxford Prep (Oxford, NC) to face the Griffins in a 1A Triangle North game on Wednesday, December 13. The Griffins enter the game with a record of 5-7. Oxford Prep lost 42-41 in their recent non-league game against East Wake Academy (Zebulon, NC)
