In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Turner Ashby Knights (Bridgewater, VA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Fort Defiance Indians (Fort Defiance, VA), by a margin of 57-26.
The Knights (6-0) will now prepare for their outing against William Monroe (Stanardsville, VA). The Dragons go into the Valley outing with a 2-3 record. In their last outing, William Monroe was trounced by Spotswood (Penn Laird, VA), 60-14, in a league outing.
The Indians now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Alleghany for a non-league outing on Thursday, December 14. Fort Defiance will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 35-33 non-league win over Buffalo Gap (Swoope, VA). The Cougars record now stands at 4-1.
