Glendale Nitros (Glendale, CA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Muir Mustangs (Pasadena, CA), 59-42 in a league bout.

With the victory, Glendale upgrades its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Nitros host Arcadia (Arcadia, CA) to play the Apaches in a Pacific bout on Friday, December 15. The Apaches come into the bout with a record of 2-5. Arcadia lost 36-34 in their recent league bout against Burbank (Burbank, CA)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Hoover Tornados (Glendale, CA) in a Pacific bout, on Friday, December 15. Muir will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Tornados come into the bout with a 1-7 record after their 87-13 league loss to Crescenta Valley (La Crescenta, CA).
