Murray County Indians (Chatsworth, GA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Gordon Central Warriors (Calhoun, GA), 62-35 in a league bout.

With the win, Murray County upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Indians travel to Rockmart (Rockmart, GA) to play the Yellowjackets in a AA Region 7 bout on Friday, December 15. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a record of 5-0. Rockmart won 58-31 in their recent league bout against Gordon Central (Calhoun, GA)

Next up, the Warriors play the Haralson County Rebels (Tallapoosa, GA) in a AA Region 7 bout, on Friday, December 15. Gordon Central will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Rebels go into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 51-17 league loss to Model (Rome, GA).
