North Carolina High School Basketball - Grimsley nudges Southeast Guilford

December 12, 2023: Greensboro, NC 27408

In Tuesday's league outing, the Grimsley Whirlies (Greensboro, NC) basketball squad edged the visiting Southeast Guilford Falcons (Greensboro, NC), by a margin of 45-43.

The Whirlies (2-3) will now prepare for their outing against Northwest Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Vikings go into the 4A Metro outing with a 4-1 record. In their last outing, Northwest Guilford held off Western Guilford (Greensboro, NC), 53-46, in a league outing.

The Falcons now own a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Glenn for a non-league outing on Wednesday, December 13. Southeast Guilford will clash with a Bobcats squad coming off a 69-44 non-league loss to Ragsdale (Jamestown, NC). The Bobcats record now stands at 1-7.
