In Tuesday's league outing, the Halifax County Comets (South Boston, VA) basketball squad beat the visiting Tunstall Trojans (Dry Fork, VA), by a margin of 57-41.
The Comets (2-2) will now prepare for their outing against Gretna (Gretna, VA). The Hawks go into the non-league outing with a 1-4 record.
The Trojans now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they host Magna Vista for a Piedmont outing on Wednesday, December 13. Tunstall will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 50-37 non-league win over Chatham (Chatham, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 5-0.
