The Junction City Tigers (Junction City, OR) basketball nipped the host Hidden Valley Mustangs (Grants Pass, OR), 26-21 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Tigers (3-3) will now prepare for their test against Scappoose (Scappoose, OR). The Indians go into the non-league test with a 3-0 record. In their last test, Scappoose got by North Marion (Aurora, OR), 56-36, in a non-league test.
The Mustangs now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Coquille for a non-league test on Thursday, December 14. Hidden Valley will encounter a Red Devils squad coming off a 60-23 non-league win over Oakland (Oakland, OR). The Red Devils record now stands at 6-0.
