Norwood Mustangs (Norwood, MA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Holliston Panthers (Holliston, MA), 51-24 in a league bout.

With the win, Norwood upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Mustangs host Hopkinton (Hopkinton, MA) to play the Hillers in a Tri-Valley bout on Friday, December 15. The Hillers go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Hopkinton won 46-35 in their recent league bout against Ashland (Ashland, MA)

Next up, the Panthers play the Medfield Warriors (Medfield, MA) in a Tri-Valley bout, on Friday, December 15. Holliston will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 66-36 league win over Westwood (Westwood, MA).
