The Thomaston Bears (Thomaston, CT) basketball crushed the visiting Housatonic-Wamogo Mountaineers (Falls Village, CT), 55-24 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Bears (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Litchfield (Litchfield, CT). The Cowboys go into the Berkshire test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Litchfield was trounced by Shepaug Valley (Washington, CT), 33-18, in a league test.
The Mountaineers now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Terryville for a non-league test on Thursday, December 14.
