The South Wasco County Redsides basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the host Irrigon Knights to 45 in the Redsides non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Redsides now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lyle/Wishram for a 1A Big Sky contest on Friday, December 15. South Wasco County will battle a Cougars team coming off a 40-20 non-league loss to Lewis Academy (Newberg, OR). The Cougars record now stands at 0-3.
The Knights (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Umatilla (Umatilla, OR). The Vikings come into the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Umatilla prevailed over Irrigon (Irrigon, OR), 42-32, in a non-league contest.
