The Izard County Cougars (Brockwell, AR) basketball crushed the host White County Central Bears (Judsonia, AR), 80-54 in Tuesday's league test.
The Cougars (6-4) will now prepare for their test against Sloan-Hendrix (Imboden, AR). The Greyhounds go into the 2A Region 2 test with a 6-11 record. In their last test, Sloan-Hendrix was trounced by Quitman (Quitman, AR), 51-32, in a league test.
The Bears now own a 1-14 record. They play next when they host Quitman for a 2A Region 2 test on Friday, December 15. White County Central will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 73-37 non-league win over Atkins (Atkins, AR). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-2.
