The Kingwood Park Panthers basketball team scored 41 points and restricted the visiting New Caney Eagles to 23 in the Panthers non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Panthers now sport a 6-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rudder for a non-league contest on Monday, December 18.

The Eagles (7-13) will now prepare for their contest against Conroe (Conroe, TX). The Tigers come into the 6A Region II District 13 contest with a 6-11 record. In their last contest, Conroe was defeated by Oak Ridge (Conroe, TX), 50-48, in a league contest.
