Lafayette Generals (Lexington, KY) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Tates Creek Commodores (Lexington, KY), 52-22 in a league bout.

With the victory, Lafayette upgrades its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Generals travel to Paul Laurence Dunbar (Lexington, KY) to play the Bulldogs in a District 43 bout on Thursday, December 14. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 5-0.

Next up, the Commodores play the Pleasure Ridge Park Panthers (Louisville, KY) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 16. Tates Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record.
