Texas High School Basketball - McGregor ripped by Little River Academy

The Little River Academy Bumblebees basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting McGregor Bulldogs to 25 in the Bumblebees league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bumblebees now sport a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rockdale for a 3A Region III District 19 contest on Friday, December 15. Little River Academy will meet a Tigers team coming off a 35-27 league win over C.H. Yoe (Cameron, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 9-7.

The Bulldogs (8-11) will now prepare for their contest against Lexington (Lexington, TX). The Eagles enter the 3A Region III District 19 contest with a 15-5 record. In their last contest, Lexington was routed by Lorena (Lorena, TX), 69-25, in a league contest.
