With the victory, Lone Tree upgrades its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Lions host Pekin (Packwood, IA) to play the Panthers in a SEI - North bout on Friday, December 15. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 3-4. Pekin won 54-39 in their recent league bout against Hillcrest Academy (Kalona, IA)

Next up, the Falcons play the Durant Wildcats (Durant, IA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 14. Louisa-Muscatine will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Wildcats come into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 49-47 league loss to Tipton (Tipton, IA).
