Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Waterford Ravens (Sandy, UT) and the host Maeser Prep Academy Lions (Lindon, UT), saw Waterford's basketball squad overcome Maeser Prep Academy by a tally of 46-29.

With the victory, Waterford improves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Ravens travel to American Leadership Academy (Spanish Fork, UT) to play the Eagles in a 2A Region 17 challenge on Thursday, January 4. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 4-3.

Next up, the Lions play the Ben Lomond Scots (Ogden, UT) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 14. Maeser Prep Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Scots come into the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 59-27 non-league loss to Clearfield (Clearfield, UT).
