The Mt. Vernon-Enola Warhawks basketball team scored 59 points and held the host Marshall Bobcats to 37 in the Warhawks league triumph on Tuesday.

The Warhawks now sport a 18-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cedar Ridge for a 2A Region 2 contest on Friday, December 15. Mt. Vernon-Enola will meet a Timberwolves team coming off a 46-41 league win over South Side (Bee Branch, AR). The Timberwolves record now stands at 8-4.

The Bobcats (6-7) will now prepare for their contest against South Side (Bee Branch, AR). The Hornet enter the 2A Region 2 contest with a 5-12 record. In their last contest, South Side was routed by Cedar Ridge (Newark, AR), 46-41, in a league contest.
