The Moshannon Valley Black Knights/Damsels basketball team (Houtzdale, PA), was overwhelmed 41-18 in Tuesday's league battle with the host West Branch Warriors (Morrisdale, PA)

The Warriors now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Williamsburg for a Inter County - North battle on Friday, December 15. West Branch will battle a Blue Pirates team coming off a 85-19 league win over Curwensville (Curwensville, PA). The Blue Pirates record now stands at 3-0.

The Black Knights/Damsels (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against Glendale (Flinton, PA). The Vikings come into the Moshannon Valley battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, Glendale was overwhelmed by Juniata Valley (Alexandria, PA), 47-29, in a league battle.
