Texas High School Basketball - Ralls topped by Olton

The Olton Mustangs basketball team scored 40 points and restricted the visiting Ralls Jackrabbits to 23 in the Mustangs league victory on Tuesday.
The Mustangs now sport a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Smyer for a 2A Region I District 4 contest on Friday, December 15. Olton will battle a Bobcats team coming off a 48-37 league loss to New Deal (New Deal, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 6-4.
The Jackrabbits (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Hale Center (Hale Center, TX). The Owls come into the 2A Region I District 4 contest with a 9-7 record. In their last contest, Hale Center was defeated by Floydada (Floydada, TX), 46-45, in a league contest.
