Texas High School Basketball - Pieper overwhelms Seguin

December 12, 2023: San Antonio, TX 78620

Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Pieper Warriors (San Antonio, TX) and the visiting Seguin Matadors (Seguin, TX), saw Pieper's basketball squad wallop Seguin by a tally of 51-28.

With the victory, Pieper improves its record to 17-2 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Wagner (San Antonio, TX) to play the Thunderbirds in a 5A Region IV District 26 challenge on Friday, December 15. The Thunderbirds come into the challenge with a record of 11-5. Wagner won 81-37 in their recent league challenge against Boerne-Champion (Boerne, TX)

The Matadors (4-14) will now prepare for their battle against Tivy (Kerrville, TX). The Antlers come into the 5A Region IV District 26 battle with a 11-2 record. In their last battle, Tivy trounced Canyon (New Braunfels, TX), 49-38, in a league battle.
