California High School Basketball - Piner edges St. Vincent de Paul

The Piner Prospectors (Santa Rosa, CA) basketball nipped the host St. Vincent de Paul Mustangs (Petaluma, CA), 37-32 in Tuesday's league contest.

The Prospectors now sport a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sonoma Valley for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 13. Piner will battle a Dragons team coming off a 40-22 non-league win over Archie Williams (San Anselmo, CA). The Dragons record now stands at 5-3.

The Mustangs (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against Sonoma Academy (Santa Rosa, CA). The Coyotes come into the non-league contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Sonoma Academy edged College Prep (Oakland, CA), 57-23, in a non-league contest.
