Santa Fe Trail Chargers (Carbondale, KS) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Prairie View Buffalos (La Cygne, KS), 58-43 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Santa Fe Trail upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Osawatomie (Osawatomie, KS) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 0-5. Osawatomie lost 54-14 in their recent league bout against Anderson County (Garnett, KS)
Next up, the Buffalos play the Iola Mustangs (Iola, KS) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 14. Prairie View will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Mustangs come into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 41-37 non-league loss to Burlington (Burlington, KS).
