The South Plaquemines Hurricanes basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the visiting Thomas Jefferson to 26 in the Hurricanes league victory on Tuesday.
The Hurricanes now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Jefferson for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 14. South Plaquemines will battle a Buccaneers team coming off a 51-12 non-league loss to Warren Easton (New Orleans, LA). The Buccaneers record now stands at 0-10.
The (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against King Charter (New Orleans, LA). The Jaguar come into the non-league contest with a 0-5 record. In their last contest, King Charter was routed by New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy (New Orleans, LA), 42-18, in a non-league contest.
