The Monticello Mustangs basketball team scored 47 points and held the visiting Goochland Bulldogs to 13 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Tuesday.

With the victory, Monticello upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Waynesboro (Waynesboro, VA) to play the Little Giants in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 13. The Little Giants come into the bout with a record of 1-3.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Western Albemarle Warriors (Crozet, VA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 14. Goochland will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 4-0 record after their 39-17 non-league win over Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA).
