Mountain View Wildcats (Stafford, VA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Massaponax Panthers (Spotsylvania, VA), 34-10 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mountain View upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Wildcats host Riverbend (Fredericksburg, VA) to play the Bears in a non-league bout on Friday, December 15. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Riverbend won 34-11 in their recent non-league bout against Miller School of Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA)

Next up, the Panthers play the Colonial Forge Eagles (Stafford, VA) in a bout, on Friday, December 15. Massaponax will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 23-22 non-league loss to Chancellor (Fredericksburg, VA).
