Bishop Hendricken Hawks (Warwick, RI) fans left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their ice hockey team achieve victory over the visiting North Kingstown Skippers (North Kingstown, RI), 11-0 in a league match.

The Hawks (1-0) will now prepare for their match against East Greenwich (East Greenwich, RI). The Avengers enter the State Championship Division match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, East Greenwich was trounced by Burrillville (Harrisville, RI), 4-1, in a league match.

Next up, the Skippers clash with the Mount St. Charles Academy Mounties (Woonsocket, RI) in a State Championship Division match, on Friday, December 15. North Kingstown will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Mounties enter the match with a 0-2 record after their 8-0 non-league loss to St. John's (Shrewsbury, MA).
