Abingdon Falcons (Abingdon, VA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Lee Generals (Jonesville, VA), 49-20 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Abingdon upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Falcons host Honaker (Honaker, VA) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 13. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Generals clash with the Twin Springs Titans (Nickelsville, VA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 22. Lee will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
