Sipsey Valley Bears (Buhl, AL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting American Christian Academy Patriots (Tuscaloosa, AL), 47-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Sipsey Valley upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Bears host Northridge (Tuscaloosa, AL) to play the Jaguars in a non-league bout on Friday, December 15. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Northridge won 47-7 in their recent non-league bout against Sipsey Valley (Buhl, AL)

Next up, the Patriots play the Thomasville Tigers (Thomasville, AL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. American Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record.
