North Carolina High School Basketball - Anson crushes South Davidson

December 12, 2023: Denton, NC 27239

Anson Bearcats (Wadesboro, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host South Davidson Wildcats (Denton, NC), 69-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Anson upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Bearcats host Montgomery Central (Troy, NC) to clash with the Timberwolves in a non-league bout on Friday, December 15. The Timberwolves go into the bout with a record of 4-3. Montgomery Central won 31-25 in their recent non-league bout against Central Academy (Monroe, NC)

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the North Rowan Cavaliers (Spencer, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 15. South Davidson will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 48-38 non-league win over West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC).
