Archbishop McCarthy Mavericks (Fort Lauderdale, FL) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host St. John Paul II Academy Eagles (Boca Raton, FL), 65-56 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Archbishop McCarthy upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Mavericks travel to Don Soffer Aventura (Aventura, FL) to play the Barracuda in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 20. The Barracuda come into the bout with a record of 3-1.
Next up, the Eagles play the Inlet Grove Hurricanes (Riviera Beach, FL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 22. St. John Paul II Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record.
