The Mount Dora Hurricanes basketball team scored 80 points and held the visiting Eustis Panthers to 72 in the Hurricanes non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Hurricanes now sport a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Umatilla for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 14. Mount Dora will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 55-38 non-league loss to Belleview (Belleview, FL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-1.
The Panthers (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against South Sumter (Bushnell, FL). The Raiders enter the contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, South Sumter was defeated by Lecanto (Lecanto, FL), 59-49, in a non-league contest.
