With the victory, Haven upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Hoisington (Hoisington, KS) to play the Cardinals in a bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Cardinals come into the bout with a record of 0-1.

Next up, the Panthers play the Andale Indians (Andale, KS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Nickerson will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record.
