North Carolina High School Basketball - Hopewell can't hold off Mallard Creek

The Mallard Creek Mavericks basketball team scored 35 points and held the host Hopewell Titans to 34 in the Mavericks league triumph on Tuesday.
The Mavericks now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Mecklenburg for a non-league contest on Friday, December 15.
The Titans (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against West Charlotte (Charlotte, NC). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 1-2 record.
