Mercer Island Islanders (Mercer Island, WA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Interlake Saints (Bellevue, WA), 81-58 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Mercer Island upgrades its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Islanders host Liberty (Issaquah, WA) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Friday, December 15. The Patriots come into the bout with a record of 4-2. Liberty won 67-27 in their recent non-league bout against Lindbergh (Renton, WA)

Next up, the Saints play the Bellevue Wolverines (Bellevue, WA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 15. Interlake will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Wolverines come into the bout with a 3-0 record after their 88-59 non-league win over Hazen (Renton, WA).
