Moreau Catholic Mariners (Hayward, CA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Mission San Jose Warriors (Fremont, CA), 56-48 in a league bout.

With the victory, Moreau Catholic upgrades its record to 8-0 on the campaign. The Mariners travel to Freedom (Oakley, CA) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 14. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 6-1. Freedom won 64-63 in their recent non-league bout against Berkeley (Berkeley, CA)

Next up, the Warriors play the Hollister Haybalers (Hollister, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 27. Mission San Jose will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
