The Wilson Prep Tigers basketball team scored 80 points and restricted the visiting Rocky Mount Prep Jaguars to 49 in the Tigers league victory on Tuesday.

The Tigers now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northwest Halifax for a contest on Friday, December 15. Wilson Prep will battle a Vikings team coming off a 53-32 league win over Northampton County (Gaston, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 1-5.

The Jaguars (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against North Edgecombe (Tarboro, NC). The Warriors come into the non-league contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, North Edgecombe was routed by Warren County (Warrenton, NC), 61-38, in a non-league contest.
