The West Springfield Spartans basketball team (Springfield, VA), was nudged 57-50 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting West Potomac Wolverines (Alexandria, VA)
The Wolverines now possess a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mount Vernon for a non-league battle on Friday, December 15.
The Spartans (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Fairfax (Fairfax, VA). The Lions come into the non-league battle with a 0-1 record.
