In Thursday's league contest, the host Glencoe-Silver Lake Panthers basketball team scored a close 84-80 triumph over the Belle Plaine Tigers.
The Panthers (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Holy Family Catholic (Victoria, MN). The Fire go into the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Holy Family Catholic was tipped by Minnehaha Academy (Minneapolis, MN), 79-59, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Tigers confront the Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton Bulldogs (Janesville, MN) in a AA Section 2 contest, on Tuesday, December 17. Belle Plaine will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a 2-1 record after their 76-59 non-league loss to St. Cloud Cathedral (St. Cloud, MN).
