In Thursday's league contest, the host Calvary Christian Cougar basketball team scored a big 80-36 triumph over the Raleigh Christian Academy Eagles.
The Cougar (7-6) will now prepare for their contest against Asheboro Hybrid Academy (Asheboro, NC). The Warriors go into the non-league contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, Asheboro Hybrid Academy smashed Faith Christian Academy (Burlington, NC), 65-27, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Fellowship Baptist Academy Eagles (Durham, NC) in a NCCSA A East Region 4 contest, on Thursday, January 9. Raleigh Christian Academy will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record.
