The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the North Central Jets (Powers, MI) and the host Carney-Nadeau Wolves (Carney, MI), observed North Central's basketball team overwhelm Carney-Nadeau by a score of 67-45.

The Jets (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Bark River-Harris (Harris, MI). The Broncos come into the Central Upper Peninsula challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Bark River-Harris was routed by Stephenson (Stephenson, MI), 63-49, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Wolves encounter the Superior Central Cougars (Eben Junction, MI) in a Central Upper Peninsula challenge, on Monday, December 16. Carney-Nadeau will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record.
