In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Desert Chapel Eagles basketball team scored a close 2-0 win over the Weaver Monarchs.
The Eagles (6-1) will now prepare for their contest against Noli Indian (San Jacinto, CA). The Braves come into the Victory contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Noli Indian was tipped by Palm Valley (Rancho Mirage, CA), 59-17, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Monarchs battle the Palm Valley FIREBIRDS (Rancho Mirage, CA) in a Victory contest, on Tuesday, December 17. Weaver will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The FIREBIRDS come into the contest with a 5-2 record after their 44-19 non-league win over West Shores (Salton City, CA).
