The Douglass Academy Lions basketball team scored 61 points and limited the visiting Environmental Eagles to 51 in the Lions league triumph on Thursday.

The Lions now possess a 3-0 record. They play next when they host Democracy Prep for a PSAL 2A Manhattan III game on Tuesday, December 17.

With the loss, Environmental falls to 3-2 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Beacon (New York, NY) to confront the Blue Demons in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 17. The Blue Demons go into the game with a record of 3-2. Beacon won 80-60 in their recent non-league game against East Harlem (New York, NY)
