In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Fairland Dragons basketball team scored a close 50-46 triumph over the South Point Pointers.

The Dragons (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Eastern (Sardinia, OH). The Warriors go into the non-league contest with a 2-1 record.

In their next game, the Pointers battle the Washington Blue Lions (Washington Court House, OH) in a non-league contest, on Sunday, December 15. South Point will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record.
